Privacy Policy
Your health data is deeply personal. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the control you have over it — across the SUKI website and mobile app.
Last updated: 14 July 2026
1. Who we are
SUKI Wellness ("SUKI", "we", "us") provides personalised, evidence-based hormone-health care for women and girls through consultations, education, products, and the SUKI mobile app. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to provide and personalise your care: • Account details — name, email address, and password you provide at sign-up. • Health and cycle data — information you choose to log, such as menstrual cycle dates, symptoms, moods, notes, and wellness check-ins. • Profile and onboarding preferences — age range, interests, and goals you share to personalise the experience. • Community content — posts, comments, and messages you share in the SUKI community. • Usage and device data — app interactions, device type, operating system, and diagnostic logs used to keep the service reliable and secure.
3. How we use your information
We use your data to: create and manage your account; personalise your cycle tracking, insights, and educational content; operate community features you opt into; respond to your enquiries and support requests; process subscriptions and payments; and keep the service safe, secure, and functioning. We do not use your health data for advertising.
4. Legal basis
Where applicable law requires it, we process your data on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), the performance of our service to you, and our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and improving it. Health data is treated as a special category and handled with additional care.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with: service providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality (for example, secure hosting and payment processing); and authorities where we are legally required to do so. Community content you post is visible to other members by design.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
7. Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from within the app (Settings → Privacy) or by contacting us. You may also withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or ask us to restrict it. We will respond to any request in line with applicable law.
8. Data security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure. Authentication tokens are held server-side and never exposed to your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
9. Children’s privacy
SUKI supports the health of women and girls. Where a user is below the age of digital consent in their country, we expect a parent or guardian to review this policy and supervise use. We do not knowingly collect data from children outside of this context, and we minimise the data we collect from young users.
10. International transfers
SUKI operates from Uganda. Where your data is processed in another country, we take steps to ensure it receives a comparable level of protection to that required by applicable law.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
